The Internal Audit Group
Is responsible for the following:
1. Carry out tasks related to inspection of management, finance, and accounting of the Department
2. Collaborate with or support other offices that are relevant or assigned
Internal Audit Group
(1) Internal Audit and Evaluation Unit
1. Inspect the validity of and credibility of data and numbers, analyze and evaluate the management results, operate the inspection unit according to the internal control system
2. Inspect the performance on budget management and other operation management
3. Evaluate operational performance and suggest methods and measures to improve for increased efficiency and effectiveness of the audited office as well as to prevent loss or corruption
4. Monitor and evaluate the risk management efficiency of the audited office
5. Follow up on the audit, recommendations, and advice provided to managerial staff and audited office to ensure improvement
6. Coordinate with the internal auditors at the Ministry level and coordinate with the State Audit Office to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the auditing tasks
7. Develop the internal audit system and personnel
8. Carry out other tasks related to internal auditing and other assigned tasks
(2) Administrative Unit
1. Carry out tasks related to correspondence, general administration, and meetings of the Internal Audit Group
2. Carry out personnel management tasks
3. Carry out fiscal and budgeting tasks
4. Carry out tasks related to supplies and transportation
5. Carry out assigned tasks
